This Gold Card combines all the conveniences Taiwan offers to become your powerful support for industry exchanges in Taiwan. 

Furthermore, the Ministry is proud to unveil the "Guidelines for International Digital Economy Talents Applying for Industry Exchanges" aimed at employing Employment Gold Card holders involved in the digital economy sector. This guidelines offer enticing incentives including airfare and accommodation allowances to support their valuable contributions to Taiwan’s thriving digital economy sector.

• From now until October 31, 2024, Gold Card holders visiting Taiwan for business purposes can enjoy a one-time bonus allocation for airfare, accommodation expenses, internet fees, and other related business expenses during their stay in Taiwan.

Must meet ONE of the following requirements:

Working Seniority：Over 8 years of professional experience in the digital economy sector.

Compensation：Employed in a relevant field with a recent monthly salary of at least NT$160,000.

Academic Achievement：Graduated from a university ranked in the Top 500 worldwide and holding a doctoral degree from that institution.

Relevant Expertise：Included academic certifications, winning awards, or having more than 4 years of relevant work experience.

The cost is dependent on country of citizenship and duration of the Gold Card. For US Citizens, the cost is NT $7,605-9,605 ($250-300 USD). For residents of Hong Kong and Macau, the price is NT $3,100 ($750 HKD). For citizens of other counties, the cost is NT $3,700-5,700 ($100-200 USD).

Gold Card holders visiting Taiwan for“digital economy” business purposes until October 31, 2024, can enjoy a bonus allocation for airfare, accommodation, internet fees, and related expenses. The digital economy business activities include but are not limited to the following：enterprise hiring、business collaboration、consulting advisory、park residency、guiding mentor、competition judging、keynote speech、pitching in competitions、exhibition negotiations. • Individual Application：The applicant shall apply for the industry exchange at least 15 working days prior to their arrival in Taiwan.

Documents Required：

1. Proof of Employment Gold Card ownership or application.
2. Basic personal information.
3. Business trip agenda in Taiwan.
4. Description of the obligations planned to be fulfilled.

• Organizational Application：The applying unit shall apply for the industry exchange at least 30 working days before the event is held.

Documents Required：

1. Digital economy activities information. 
2. List of invited Employment Gold Card holders.
3. Statement of Liabilities and Obligations.
